NRL & NRLW Seasons locked in for 2024

The Venues NSW network is set for one of the biggest seasons of rugby league ever with confirmation today that 70 regular season NRL and NRLW fixtures and a men’s and women’s State of Origin match will be played at five stadiums across the network. 

At Accor Stadium, Sydney’s Olympic venue will host the State of Origin men’s series opener on Wednesday 5 June and nine blockbuster South Sydney Rabbitohs and Canterbury Bulldogs home games in 2024. 

Parramatta’s CommBank Stadium will welcome home the Eels as they vie for a return to the finals with 13 games across NRL and NRLW locked in. The Eels will kick off their season on Saturday 9 March against arch-rivals the Bulldogs

Fans will be treated to the best of western Sydney’s diverse culinary culture in 2024, with Venues NSW partnering with Gema Group to deliver a whole new level of dining experience at Accor Stadium and CommBank Stadium.The legendary El Jannah, Al Aseel, Sushi Hub and Five Guys are just some of the mouth-watering options to be available at the footy next season, on top of stadium favourites.

In a huge win for Hunter footy fans, McDonald Jones Stadium will host the second match of the history-making women’s State of Origin series on Thursday 6 June. Coming off the back of a record-breaking 2023, the Knights NRL and NRLW teams will line up at McDonald Jones 12 and four times respectively next season.

The annual ANZAC Day Cup highlights 14 fixtures at Allianz Stadium, with the Roosters playing host to the Rabbitohs, Panthers and Melbourne Storm all in the opening seven rounds.

Footy also returns to Wollongong, with six NRL and three NRLW games confirmed for WIN Stadium. The 25 August local derby double-header against the Cronulla Sharks is one not to be missed.
